This 1954 MG TF is described as a largely complete example that has been with the current owner for around 10 years. It was purchased in 2006 as a running driver with the intent of performing a full restoration, but has mostly been stored in a cement-floored barn since. The car is fitted with a 2.3 liter Ford four-cylinder mated to a Ford 4-speed manual gearbox, and a spare MG transmission is included. It was taken to a local garage in 2016, but work was halted when a fuel leak was discovered. The car is offered at no reserve with factory hubcaps, side curtains, some notes from prior owners, and a clean Texas title in the current owner’s name. This TF is being represented in this sale by the current owner’s friend of 50 years.
